The Scotia Gas JNC has formally ratified the 2008 pay rise which will increase all salary points by 4.6% from 12 July, making a total increase of over 14% for the three year deal.

SSE JNCC Update

(29/06/2008) At the last meeting of Scottish and Southern Energy’s JNCC the company confirmed that they have no plans to offshore back office work abroad.

2008 Passenger Transport pay offer

(17/04/2008) At a meeting of the Passenger Transport Forum on 16 April the Employers offered a 2.5% increase in response to the 2008 pay claim. They said this was their final offer.

They were prepared to consider the implications of deleting Spinal Column Point 8, with the possibility of doing something in 2009.

The Trade Union Side agreed to take the offer away and consult their members.
