Tackling Homophobic and Transphobic Bullying in Schools
(22/08/2008) UNISON believes that schools should include lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) equality education in the school curriculum, to address homophobic bullying in schools.Stonewall Champions Programme
(22/08/2008) Stonewall are running an Education Champions Programme and would like UNISON to promote this. The programme provides bespoke support and guidance to local authorities in tackling homophobia and homophobic bullying in their local schools. Local authorities work with Stonewall and each other to establish ways in which they can address homophobic bullying and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all young people.DDA and Higher Education
