Unsocial hours proposal

Staff council joint statement on craft national recruitment & retention premis (NRRP)

10 August 2007
Following a study conducted by the University of Greenwich, the Staff Council has agreed that the current NRRP payable to Craft Maintenance and Craft Technician Grades should continue.

New NHS Redundancy Agreement.

2 November 2006
The agreement has now been ratified and incorporated into an amended Section 16 of The NHS Terms and Conditions Handbook.
The agreement provides for one months pay per completed year on continuous NHS employment upon redundancy. The maximum is two years pay. Staff over 50 will have the option of a redundancy lump sum or early retirement with no reduction in their pension.

NHS Redundancy Agreement Ratified

1 November 2006
The Minister of Health has ratified the new NHS Redundancy Agreement negotiated by NHS Trade Unions and NHS Employers. The agreement now comes into effect from the 1st October 2006. The agreement eliminates the age discrimination in the previous agreement and now provides for 1 months pay for each year of employment for anyone unfortunate enough to be made redundant.
