HIV/AIDS

The HIV/AIDS crisis and its impact worldwide is a priority international issue for UNISON. HIV/AIDS is a key workplace issue as a large proportion of those HIV positive are aged between 15 and 49, in the prime of their working lives. People with HIV/AIDS are also discriminated against. Not only does this threaten fundamental principles and rights at work, it also undermines efforts for prevention and care.
