International labour migration
The work of UNISON in respect of organising and representing, protecting and supporting migrant workers, particularly in the health sector, is an ongoing part of UNISON's national agenda. UNISON is also concerned about the impact migration is having in other countries especially those who can ill afford to lose their key workers. Given UNISON's international remit to build links with sister unions abroad, help build capacity and show solidarity the issues surrounding labour migration are central to our activities.
