CraftworkersUNISON has 20,000 members across the public services who are craftworkers. Craftworkers are often unseen and undervalued. The role they play in the smooth and safe running of any organisation is pivotal. Estates management and maintenance are a core element of any organisation impacting on users, staff, customers image and service delivery. UNISON's local government unit holds an annual national meeting and has craft members on national committees representing the views of craftworkers around the country. We also produce a cross service group newsletter called Craft Matters. Copies are available from your branch secretary. Additionally we issue regular bulletins to craft members and we have a e mail and craft contact list. If you would to be part of this please email Marilyn Bailey or telephone 020 7551 1789.
