Transforming community services (TCS)
The launch of the Department of Health's Transforming Community Services (TCS) programme in early 2009 has seen the government pushing for PCTs to adopt new organisational structures to provide their services - including social enterprises and private sector companies. Staff face the possibility of being transferred out of the NHS.UNISON has produced a range of materials to give you information of what these changes mean and to help you campaign against any changes that may damage your services.
