How young is young?
If you're under 27 years of age then you can get involved with UNISON's young members. We know that there are many members who are still young at heart, but we have to draw the line somewhere!
Already a UNISON member? Make the pledge. Challenge X sets out to achieve 1.5 million members before 2008. |
Young members' weekend 2007
This year's young members weekend takes place 11-13 May at the Holiday Inn, Belfast and the theme is defending public services. It's a great chance to meet, work and socialise with up to 120 other young members, find out more about the union, and learn key organising skills. If you will be under 27 years old on 13 May 2007, ask your branch secretary about attending. Alternatively you can contact your regional staff contact via UNISONdirect on 0845 355 0845, or email your full name, branch, region and membership number to young.members@unison.co.uk Weekend costs (including meals, accommodation, travel, childcare and other appropriate and properly incurred expenses) will be reimbursed by UNISON. Please note that numbers are limited and that registering your interest does not guarantee you a place at the event. |
